Celestina Sunny joined the All Stars Project of Dallas in 2022 as part of the Development team. As a dynamic and trusted leader, her favorite part of Development is building relationships with individual and corporate philanthropic partners and inspiring volunteers to join and host workshops, cheer on youth performers at talent shows, and march alongside the All Stars community for the annual South Dallas MLK parade. In her role as Development Manager, she is also responsible for raising $1.75 million in private support through developing foundation grant proposals and reports, assistant leading annual, North Texas Giving Day, and fall benefit campaigns, and co-leading the Trustee leadership body. Celestina is a graduate of UT Austin and has a background in political and grassroots organizing. She has lived all over the world including Oman, India, and England, but has the privilege of calling Dallas her home. Coming from a hard-working immigrant family, she understands the importance of afterschool opportunities, a caring community, and stages for young people to express and grow their personal and professional talent.
