The Summer Internship
The 2025 Dallas Works Internship Program will place more than 100 students in paid internships at corporations, nonprofits, and government agencies across Dallas. Effective internships require quality placements, pre-internship training for youth and supervisors, as well as ongoing support throughout the internship. To be eligible for the internship, students must apply to and complete the Dallas Works Internship Prep Bootcamp. This year, Dallas Works will accept up to 175 students in the Internship Prep Bootcamp.
The Dallas Works Internship Prep Bootcamp is an intensive pre-internship program to ensure youth are ready to make the most of the experience. Bootcamp consists of training and outings that help young people navigate what they will encounter in a work setting, alongside their peers, Dallas Works staff, and corporate volunteers.
