  • Attend a two-hour orientation: May 25, 2024
  • Work summer job
  • Attend program celebratory event (optional) - August 2024

  • Check email daily for hiring paperwork: May 15, 2024
  • Attend a two-hour orientation: May 25, 2024
  • Work summer internship
  • Attend program celebratory event (Optional) - August 2024

I want to participate in a leadership development program to obtain on-the-job insight, and mentoring in my industry of choice.

-Level 3 applicant

  • Live in the City of Dallas
  • High school student in grades 10-11 (2023 – 2024 school year)
  • Must be 16 years old by May 31, 2024
  • Must have the ability to work in the United States
  • 2.5 G.P.A.
  • Letter of recommendation from campus leadership
  • Complete six hours of online workforce readiness training and four hours of on-site training:  March 9  or March 23
  • Attend required on-site leadership development workshop: May 29, 2024
  • Involved in one extracurricular activity or club
  • Has completed five hours of community service
  • Has participated in one of the following:
    • Pre AP / AP course
    • AVID
    • College class
    • Dual credit
    • Collegiate academy or PTECH
    • NAF academy
    • CTE Course
    • UT Outreach Program

  • Complete online workforce readiness training: February 24, 2024
  • Attend one required on-site training: March 9 or March 23, 2024
  • Collect required paperwork and submit
  • Attend job fair: April 19-23, 2024

  • Professional Workforce Development: May 30, May 31, June 1, 2024 9am - 3pm
